The wet and windy weather set us up for a classic Bank Holiday weekend. Kicking off the season of soggy street carnivals, damp fetes and washed out barbeques!
Yippee! Spring is here.
Us Brits seem to love any excuse to dress up and the strange and wonderful world of Padstow's famous "Obby Oss" day was no exception. Although "beer for breakfast" is not everyone's cup of tea, this lot seemed to like it and had been going all day from the night before!

Shame no Morris Men were involved, Fairy Godmother loves the jingle of bells and the sound of hankies fluttering in the breeze!

Easter weekend is nearly upon us and Fairy Godmother can't WAIT!!
Everyone loves a bank holiday...and when chocolate and fancy dress is involved, even better!! :)

You may be doing the usual family get togethers, easter egg hunts, partying and perhaps your children are making easter Bonnets for school, Fairy Godmother get a lot of enquiries this time of year for various events over the Easter Holidays.

Fairy Godmother often supplies some great Furry Easter Bunny and Chick costumes & accessories for many of our customers, wether it be for a family do; to bring a smile to your childrens faces; why not dress in one of our fun furry mascot type costumes, or at a party or Easter Egg hunt or for promotions for local companys including surrounding shops and bigger firms to highlight the fun of Easter.

The last days trading for our High Wycombe branch is Friday the 17th of February. It is business as usual at our stores in Chertsey and Kidlington (Oxford). High Wycombe is relocating to develop the on-line hire side to our business. Although not operating from a shop, we will be able to provide a fabulous new and improved hire service direct to your door!

As Valentines falls on a Tuesday this year most party goers will be celebrating the weekend before or on the Tuesday evening, please check opening times with stores if planning last minute!

Well it's that festive time of year again when the party invites begin to stack up. If you have a fancy dress party to go to this Christmas or New Year then Fairy Godmother are here to help! 2.8 Hours Later...Zombie Chase Game!!!

As its that time of year...nearly Halloween, Fairy Godmother came across this awesome Zombie based  interactive chase game played across London.....2.8 hours later

Thu 27th-Sat 29th October

Unfortunately the event is currently SOLD OUT  :(

but we thought we'd tell you a bit about it anyway, as it sounds awesome and keep in mind for next year!

People purchase a ticket which will give you your starting location in London, and then you make your way to each location in groups of about 6-8 across the city of London, avoiding Zombie attacks or 'infection' along the way!

If you make it to your location...you will be given the next location and so on untill you reach the HQ.

In essence it is an enourmous game of zombie tag played across london!

You WILL be chased, you can run...but if caught or touched by a zombie your are then you will be marked, this MAY mean infection...it MAY not....you can continue...but will only find out when you are 'scanned' for infection at HQ!! 

The game should take approximately 2.8 hours (hence the title) On arriving at the HQ and after being scanned...you can be made up as a zombie and entere the Zombie Disco & bar!!!
